About Me!

534375_364661416943308_1861935398_nHey! My name is Hope, and I am a 20 year old Bible college student from Fort Worth, Texas. I’m moving to the dorms in the fall, so many of the projects that I do this summer and this fall are going to be focused on that.

I am a big girl who’s trying to be healthy. I try to eat the best I can and exercise regularly. However, I am very picky. There are a lot of foods I hate. I MEAN HATE! I’m trying to get better about trying “new foods” (just a few weeks ago I tried avocado and found out I loved it!)Some things on the “No, no” list:

  • Onions
  • Mushrooms
  • Raw Tomatoes
  • Squash
  • Salad Dressing
  • Vinegar
  • Mayonnaise
  • and Pickles

I know these seem like normal things that people should like, but they make me want to vomit. So, you can imagine that it can be difficult to continue eating healthy when these ingredients are in just about everything. Needless to say, I will try to be posting healthy recipes that I fall in love with (and even the recipes that I don’t fall in love with).

I have an 8 year-old little sister, and she and I do many things together, so if you’re looking for little kid stuff, I will try to post that too, as often as I can!

I love Jesus, crafts, food, and design.

I’m super excited about starting this blog, and can’t wait to share my ideas with everybody!

  1. I love your planner!!! I would LOVE a menu planner and a week on 1 page weekly planner. PLEASE!!! Plan to laminate it and use a dry erase pen to be more GREEN! 🙂

  8. Hi Hope!! You are so talented. What amazing gifts you have to offer both tangibly and spiritually! I stumbled across your page while I was researching for quotes from the Bible about healing. I am fighting Stage 4 Neurological Lyme Disease. I believe there is such a spiritual component to healing and I am trying to bring that into my life as a part of winning my fight! The power of faith, prayer and meditation have provided very miraculous outcomes. Your page and your planner will be one of my “tools” I look to for guidance and “”Hope” as I flow through this phase of my life. You give me hope!! Please keep your sight going! You are an angel!

  10. Hope, I love your phone covers. Can you help me figure out how to get them from your blog to my phone? Unlike you, I’m not a 20 something that speaks fluent gizmo, or screen. To me it is a second language and while I try to learn new things, sometimes it is overwhelming. If you do not want to have these phone backgrounds used by others, I certainly understand. I think you did marvelous work, and I love to have scripture truth as my backgrounds. It is so affirming when I am having a dark day. I’ve started following your blog. I like that it is a bit of everything. Great job.
